E. Shawn Qaissaunee

E. Shawn Qaissaunee is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. He is a Berklee College of Music alumnus who has studied guitar and composition with Pat Martino, Wolfgang Muthspiel and other renowned musicians. Shawn (also known as Q) has performed nationally and abroad for over 20 years, has recorded original compositions and arrangements. He has performed with Benny Golson, David Bromberg and opened for Al Green and Joss Stone.

Live music will be performed by Purple Moon's flutist, Cheri France & pianist Paul Edson. Light refreshments will be served. Exhibit continues through December 31.

This exhibit of new works by Anthe was created from live music and dance performances. With dramatic color, shapes, gentle and bold lines Anthe employs a sense of whimsy to bring dance and music to life as works of art. She translates the choreographer's line and the composer's music -- which she sees and hears during live productions -- into pieces that resonate beyond the performances.
